Awe yes... Rodeo Drive.  Where you’ll find any brand you’d ever want.  Gucci, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren, Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi.... you name it... it’s there! And displayed in a breathtaking manner! We also saw the hotel from Pretty Woman (a few grand a night!) and Ferrari’s on every corner. I’ve never actually been on Rodeo Drive so it was a fun experience!

An Anniversary to Remember

                                                Jay Leno

Jay Leno was... well... pretty much awesome.  I think we were the very last people to get in the show and we BARELY made it!  There was some political mumbo jumbo, and the rest was good entertainment! Especially when a crazy lady in the audience interrupted the show in an attempt to gain fame. I guess that happens every month or so, and we were just lucky enough to witness it.  Inrique Inglesis was there and, though I didn’t LOVE the song he performed, I loved watching HIM! lol. Chris just laughed and my girly fetish. All I have to say is, the California experience really isn’t complete until you in the audience of a show. And BONUS POINTS if you see the writers on strike.

Chris had never been to Magic Mountain.... so this was the main reason we went to California.

It was the PERFECT day to go; Great weather and no lines... what more could you ask for?  They’ve added 4 new roller-coasters since I was there last, which were GREAT.  Xmen opens next month, so we were bummed to just miss it... but TATSU was INCREDIBLE!  The best roller coaster I’ve ever been on! Once you’re strapped in it tilts you towards the ground - and you remain at that angle.  It creates such a vulnerable feeling, but is incredibly addictive!

We had the BEST time with our friends, Kirk and Kirstin. We went on a water ride, which we all  ducked on except Kirstin, and she got SOAKED.  I saw her and about died laughing. I didn’t remember how Superman stated, if it was slow or fast.... so I told them slow. Boy, was I wrong. :)  I’m sure it went from 0-200 mph in .1 seconds. It caught us all off-guard. It was an AWESOME day and a definite repeat.

Notice the Hollywood Sign behind the group photo? And NO I wasn’t flipping the camera off (w/ Chris on pier), I was adjusting my ring. We were lucky enough to find Zoltar from BIG and, of course, made a wish. No Hollywood trip is complete without going to the walk of Fame.  Chris honoring Michael Jackson’s star.
